In an effort to continue to keep registration FEES LOW and the association ORGANIZED we have implemented the Volunteer Policy.
With an ever-growing association we need more than the Executive Members to keep things moving smoothly - we have over 600 kids playing each year!!
How the Volunteer Cheque process works:
Fill in ONLINE registration
Choose one option/athlete online. IF you do not fulfill option, and register online, at season end your form of payment (Credit Card) will be charged the $150 volunteer fee (U7 - U23) or $50 (U4 Blastball & U5 Tball)
Volunteer Options will be posted as they become available, options include, but are not limited to:
1. COACH a team
2. BE the team MANAGER
3. Be the team UMPIRE ADVOCATE
4. Work CASINO (Date TBA)
5. Help with HOUSE ASSESSMENTS - APRIL. 6th
6. Help with DIAMOND CLEAN UP - April 6th and April 13th 9:30-12:30
7. Help with REP Assesments. **MUST HAVE BALL EXPERIENCE (Feb 2, 3, 10, 14)
8. Be a Blastball location supervisor
9. Paint Blastball fields
10. Be an Umpire Mentor
11. Help with Diamond Maintenance for the Southern Alberta Softball Series (May 9, 10, 11) - this entails raking diamonds, putting out bases and lines fields
12. Help with Diamond Maintenance for the HOUSE TOURNAMENTS (please see ‘season dates) - this entails raking diamonds, putting out bases and lines fields
13. Be part of the PAINTING crew (bleachers/benches need a coat of paint)
Additionally, you could JOIN THE EXECUTIVE as a Division Coordinator!
